Congratulations to Kim Senkoe of Maidstone, SK for her purchase of this nice young gelding at the Lloydminster 2Yr Old Prospect Show & Sale in November 2011.

A son of The Jewel Snipper!  This is a colt with a lot of size and a quiet disposition.  Is going to make a nice head horse prospect. 

Out of a money-earning reining mare - she won the Harvest Gold Reining Champion in 1999.

Congratulations to Lorne Davey of Wilkie, SK for his purchase of this talented young gelding at the Lloydminster 2Yr Old Prospect Show & Sale in November 2011.

"Raffy" is out of a good mare and was purchased at a production sale as the owner's top pick.  He was one of the nicest 2yr olds to start in 2011.  Big mover with lots of stop and natural ability.

Congratulations to Jen Molnar of Taber, AB for her purchase of Jig for her new team penning mount in May 2011.

"Jig" is a fancy young gelding with a natural stop, colour, and lots of potential.  Stands around 14.2H.   VIDEOWatch it on YouTube!  Ronda started using this horse as her main heel horse for the jackpots.

Congratulations to the new owners for their purchase of Freeda at the Lakeland Working Cowboy Horse Sale in April 2011.

"Freeda" is a nice chestnut mare out of Free For Shur and by Lena Talks Cash (by Nu Cash), born in June 2006.  She's a full sister to Free King Cash, featured in our Roping Pen.  Started in her 2yr old year, and was team penned off last winter.  We sorted pairs and gathered cows as a 3-year-old.  Last spring, she was used in the branding pen and then graduated into the roping arena and has roped steers on both ends ever since.  We raised this horse from a foal and she's a full sister to Chris's good head horse who I've hauled for the last 2 years and have won over $15,000 on. We've really enjoyed riding and roping off this one, and we hope the new owners will too.

Congratulations to Harvey Anderson of Taber, AB for his purchase of LJ in October 2010.

"LJ" is a 15.0H finished heel horse with a great feel around the corner.  Shoulders up and feet always in view.  He's a little more talented than most horses, which makes him real handy.  Was used in Arizona for '09 and '10 for jackpots and has been tied-off on. 

He's a CPRA money earner (heeling) and was featured on the cover of June 2010 Rodeo Connection!  New Video Footage:  Click here for video.

Congratulations to Doug Crittal of Vermilion, AB for his purchase of Twister from the UFA Lloyd Ranch Horse Competition & Sale in November 2010.

"Twister" is out a running bred stud and a cowbred mare.  We've raised a half sister out of the same stud and loved the mind and heart she had.  Twister has a great work ethic and is really cowy. 

She's been used for a variety of things from branding calves, treating cows in the pasture, to the arena - where she has team penned and team roped. A very versatile horse that would suit many riders.

Congratulations to Dorothea Sigloch of Germany (currently residing in Swift Current, SK) for her purchase of Tucker (now nicknamed "Little B") in September 2010.

"Tucker" is a cow-bred bay gelding.   He's double bred Doc Tom Tucker, and has a huge hip, a quiet disposition and learns quickly.

Won Go-Round #2 and placed 7th overall at the Northlands Team Roping Futurity - held on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the CFR in Edmonton.

Congratulations to Harvey Anderson of Taber, AB for his purchase of Teddy in September 2010.

"Teddy" is a stout 14.2H buckskin gelding.  A gelding out of Doug Wilkinson's "Tuff n Busy" stud.  He's got a good mind and lots of cow.  We called him "Teddy" because of his frost-tipped ears make him look like a real teddy bear! 

We took him with us to Arizona in 2010 to rope on.  Just an easy horse to get along with.  We've also used him for a greener rider to sort pairs off in the calving pen.

"Bear" is a 15.2H gelding with a nice handle and a good stop.  He was used on the ranch quite a bit and to flag out colts.  He's got a huge personality and we hope him and Serena really hit it off.

"Ozzy" s a 15.2H speed machine.  He's got a big heart and the wheels to make a great barrel horse.  He's the fastest horse we've every had the privilege to ride.  He placed 6th in the 1D on Day 2 of the 2009 SBRA Finals after only 90 days on barrels with Ronda.  We hope to see this duo kicking butt in the future!

A granddaughter of Nu Cash!  A compact dark chestnut filly out of Sonita Faye and by Lena Talks Cash (by Nu Cash), born in May 2006.  This is a good looking filly with a strong pedigree to back things up, with really no holes on the top or bottom.  Her mother has a great stop and turn, and we're excited to see her potential.

"Brownie" is an athletic brown gelding.  He has about 3 months riding and is a quick learner.  A real smooth mover that seems to float when he moves.  He's a grandson of Major Pepinic out of Pepinics Master.  He's super athletic, smart, wants to please, just needs a bit of confidence.

A grandson of Doc's Hickory!  "Shayne" is a 15.1H athlete!  He's the type of horse to really get under himself in all his moves. As a head horse he's also got the speed you need to get you there in a hurry.  He has a great move out of the hole and across the pen, and also runs a 1D barrel pattern and won the 2008 KCRA Year-End and Finals as a Breakaway horse.

Congratulations to Grit's new owner, Mark Harris of Mariposa, California, who purchased Grit in May 2008. 

"Grit" is a 14.3H Head/Heel horse weighing 1300lbs. This horse is surprisingly fast, with a great body type for team roping. Short necked, short backed and short strided, making it easy to get up and rope quickly.  Strong to the horn with a nice feel across the pen and a snappy face up.

Congratulations to Penny's new owner, Thomas Roe of Smoky Lake, AB, who purchased Penny in April 2008. 

"Penny" is a 15.2H Head horse that is quiet, broke, cool in the box, and has the run and rate to suit anybody's program.  This is a user friendly horse, no gimmicks.  She's out of a Special Effort stud and a good using mare.  Over $10,000 in Cash has been won off this mare, as well as over $10K worth in prizes (4 saddles, buckles, and more).  A true gem.  We sold Penny's half sister, "Snip", in 2005, as a 4 yr old, to a #2 roper (non-triad) who won $20,000 within the first year of owning her.

Congratulations to Reba's new owners, who purchased Reba as the highest selling horse at the Vermilion Working Cowboy Hose Sale in April 2008. 

"Reba" is a 14.0H fiery red sorrel.  A daughter of El Peppy's Hurt, and out of a Sonita's Last mare.  A big horse in a small package - with a pedigree full of cutting horse royalty from top to bottom.  A huge stopper, handy, and really hunts cows.  Was heeling steers for a full year.  She's got the breeding, training, and ability to go in any direction you choose.

Congratulations to Sugar Ray's new owners, Sylvia and Floyd Fick from Biggar, SK, in November 2006.  Sylvia will go straight to the penning arena with this guy.

"Sugar Ray" is 15.1H finished penning horse.  A son of Easter Gentleman and out of a Dry Doc 17 mare.  This horse is well bred, broke, and has the speed and agility to get the job done.  He's been hauled to Canada's top penning finals and has won.  He was shown as a 3 yr old in the reining futurities and used as a lesson horse for most his life.

"Grace" is a good looking 14.1H Heel horse with a great stop, tons of 'cow', and a level head for any type of situation.  She's super cowy, broke, with an awesome disposition.  She's out of Play Mia CD, who has over $97,000 LTE's.  She's a true sweetheart to have around, to ride, to rope off, and will be one of the better horses a person will own.  She's the type of horse to suit any type of rider.

Congratulations to Matt Pick for his new ride, Corona, purchased in June 2006. 

Matt seen this horse work throughout the winter, but hadn't had the chance to ride her.  We delivered her to the new owner at a CCA Rodeo, where Matt went straight to competing off her in the Team Roping event - with a fancy two-foot catch! 

"Corona" is a 14.2H Heel horse with a great stop.  She makes a great corner, keeps your shot clean, and has an amazing stop to finish things off.  We found this horse to be one of the easiest heel horses to rope two feet off.  She has the look to get a person noticed, is easy to catch and a pleasure to be around.

Congratulations to Tracy Denbrok of Esterhazy, SK, for her purchase of Dices Solid Old Moon (aka "Nitro") in early 2004. 

"Nitro" was another one of our running machines!  Ronda and Nitro won the short-go at the Northern Lights Barrel Futurity and second in the average. 

This is a mare with the heart and try matched by no other.  Add that to her speed and her agility and you've got a rocket underneath!

Kenny had a great year on Snip - winning the Cash is King team roping in Claresholme, AB for a whopping $15,000, and a number of other winnings to close off 2005. 

"Snip" is a 15.1H Head horse with a 'get the job done attitude'.  She is a half sister to "Penny" who is featured above.  Snip is not only easy to get along with, but also easy to rope off - from your first steer to your last.

We ran into Brian at the 2006 Cow Roping in Claresholme, AB.  He was hauling two horses, one of them was Speed - in shape and looking great!

"Dino" was a daughter of Sonics Mist who stood just over 15H.  Chris was heading steers off this horse and started jackpotting on her in 2011.  Chris won a buckle at both jackpots he took her to.
